Seychelles Rupee is the basic unit of currency of Seychelles. The currency ISO code of Seychelles Rupee is SCR. The Seychelles Rupee has an independant floating rate since November 1, 2008.

Previously the exchange rate was based on a basket of currencies which represent the main trading partners : mainly US dollar, Euro, Pounds sterling since January 3rd, 2001.
