Tugrik is the basic unit of currency of Mongolia. The currency ISO code of Tugrik is MNT.

Tugrik has a floating exchange rate since May 27th, 1993. On May 27,1993, within the framework of its negociations with IMF, the Mongolian authorities devalued the official exchange rate of the Mongolian Togrog by 62.5% against the USD, from MNT 150 to MNT 400 per USD.
