Lithuanian Litus is the basic unit of currency of Lithuania. The currency ISO code of Lithuanian Litus is LTL.The Lithuanian litas is included in the Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM II) since June 28th, 2004. The central rate of lithuanian litas is set at 1 euro = 3.45280. The standard fluctuation band of plus or minus 15 % will be observed around the central rate.

Previously the Litus was pegged to the USD at LTL 4 per USD since April 1st, 1994. It is now pegged to the euro since February 2nd, 2002.
