The RMB(Renminbi) Yuan is the basic unit of China. The currency code of chinese currency is CNY. From July 21st in 2005, China has started the floating exchange rate regime based on market supply and demand with reference to a basket of currencies. Yuan is no longer pegged only with the US Dollar. China RMB has also been revalued by 2.1%.
