Chilean Peso is the basic unit of currency of Chile. The currency code of Chilean Peso is CLP. The Chilian Peso was depreciated by 12% against the USD in 2001 and against the Euro. However, taking into account the Argentinian and Bresilian crisis, the Chilian Peso was strongly appreciated against the other South-American currencies.
