Brunei Darussalam currency : Brunei Dollar

The Brunei Dollar is the basic unit of currency in Brunei Darussalam. Under a currency board arrangement, the exchange rate of the Brunei dollar is maintained with parity with the Singapore dollar. The Brunei Dollar's ISO code is BND.

Since June 12th, 1967, the Brunei Currency Board (BCB) created its own currency, the Brunei Dollar, interchangeable with the Singapore Dollar under terms signed on the same date. The Singapore Dollar is also a legal currency in Brunei.
