Bermuda currency : Bermudian Dollar

The Bermudian Dollar is the basic unit of currency in Bermuda since 1970. The currency code of Bermudian Dollar is BMD. The former currency unit was the Bermudian pound, with the same value than the USD. The change of monetary unit was linked with the decimal system adoption. The Bermudian Dollar was divided into 100 cents. The Bermuda dollar is a fixed exchange rate pegged to the US dollar at par : USD 1= BMD 1.
