Bangladesh currency : Taka

Taka is the basic unit of currency of Bangladesh. Its currency code is BDT. The Taka has a floating rate system since May 31st, 2003. The Bangladesh Central Bank announced a new foreign exchange regime with effect as of May 31, 2003: adoption of a managed floating system and the end of the fluctuation margin.
